Enter a Video For a Chance to Win up to $1,275

We invite you to help get our new Western Express YouTube Channel up and running. You can make a little extra cash and get some social cred by creating video content that is helpful, informative and entertaining for our drivers like you. We appreciate all your hard work and know you have great insight and knowledge to share.

 

It’s easy to win. Just upload a video of your life on the road to the contest site link below for a chance to win cash prizes. You can increase your chances of winning by entering as many videos as you want—there’s no limit. Every video accepted for our YouTube Channel will earn you $25 and a chance to win up to $1,275.

What you could win

  • $25 for every video accepted for You Tube Channel posting
  • $250 will be awarded to the Top 10 videos submitted by the September 10 deadline, no limit on entries
  • $1,000 Grand Prize will be awarded to the one Top 10 video with the most views by October 19th

What your video should be about
Your video can be about anything you wish to share about driving with Western Express, including:

  • What you love most about trucking
  • Your proudest moment as a Western Express driver
  • The funniest thing you’ve seen, or experienced, on the road
  • Advice to new drivers just getting started
  • How to videos like: tips on using your Qualcomm, tips on eating healthy on the road
  • How to stay in shape on the road

Valid videos must:

  • Use the words “Western Express”
  • Show the interior, or exterior, of your Western Express truck in the background
  • Video length: 2 minutes or less is recommended
  • Be submitted by the entry deadline: midnight September 10, 2016
  • Videos must comply with YouTube community guidelines, or they will be disqualified.

There’s one thing you can’t do
Do not film while driving. We know you know that. But just to be sure everyone stays safe, we’re saying it.

Remember: you can enter as many videos as you wish before the contest deadline at midnight, September 10, 2016. By submitting a video, you confirm that you have read and agree with the contest rules and that you give all rights associated with the video(s) to Western Express to use without restriction in any media.

Official Contest Rules
  1. Video must be uploaded to our Contest Website by midnight, September 10, 2016.
  2. You must be a current Western driver.
  3. Limit one submission per member.
  4. You must be 18 or older.
  5. Everyone who submits a video will receive $25 by mail. Ten videos will be selected and promoted to YouTube, and those winners will receive another $250. After three months, the video with the most unique views (separate people viewing it) will receive $1,000.
  6. Video must be about one of these:
    • Your most hilarious story
    • The craziest thing you’ve ever seen on the road
    • Your proudest moment as a Western driver
    • What you love most about trucking
  7. You must use the words “Western Express.”
  8. Video must be two minutes or less.
  9. Video must be shot in your Western truck OR have it in the background. (Please note: Truck must be parked. Videos filmed while driving will be disqualified.)
  10. You may have a friend record the video, if needed.
  11. If you add music, it must be an original creation by the participant. No music store or copyrighted source may be used.
  12. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.
  13. Videos must comply with YouTube community guidelines or they will be disqualified.
  14. YouTube is not a sponsor of this contest, and we release YouTube from any and all liability related to this contest.
  15. All personal data collected for the contest can be used, and the submitter must adhere to that use.
  16. All disclosures required by all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations, including U.S. sanctions.
  17. Videos must comply with YouTube community guidelines, or they will be disqualified.
